How to lose 100-200 pounds in America   Follow
You’ve seen the ads, and you’ve heard the TV and Radio advertising telling you to take a pill or other simple weight loss solutions. If you really want to learn how to lose 100, 200, or more pounds you first need to know what you are up against. America is a great country and it’s never to late to make a change, but learning how to lose over 100 pounds in America might be the hardest battle you’ve ever seen. Below I’m going to talk about a great guy, Richard Neil, who lost an amazing 240 pounds in 1 year. It took me over 5 years to lose a total of 70 pounds. Why has it become so hard to loose weight? Why is there so much advertising geared towards fast food and poor nutritional products?

Why can some lose weight and others can’t?

From my observations, losing weight is easy to do and easy not to do. The ones that make it create a team of coaches, friends, and family that watch their every move and help them plan their meals. They also realize that it’s not about the weight, but rather a lifestyle change. The forces that keep you from losing weight are big. Here are just a few: habits, food choices, peer groups (studies have found that if the people you hang out with are overweight or obese, then you are more likely to be as well), psychological and emotional issues. If you have been fat all your life and you’ve grown to accept it and been beaten up by it so much, then breaking out of this will be a hard. Remember earlier how I stated that our food choices in America are really bad. From the corner store to the gas station to your local grocery our daily diets are high in processed carbohydrates and low in nutrition. In the last five years, the more I learned about the food in our country the harder I have wanted to reach out and help others.

Here is your golden ticket, your quick fix to your problems!!

The fact is that there is only one way to lose 100-200 pounds in America today. Eat really clean, stay away from junk food (which is about 90% of what is sold to you, maybe higher), and exercise 1 hour per day. Sorry, no quick fix or happy pill. There are even faster ways to lose weight. Introducing Mr. Richard Neil. The video below, I must warn you, will inspire you and make you cry so get out the tissue. I don’t ever get sick of watching this story! Thank you, Richard! Now, how do we get you and your family motivated to do this, to really find a happier, healthier live? AW, heck, what if we were to together learn how to lose that weight, reach your goal, and inspire others to do the same? What I saw in Richard and what I see in so many Americans is that we have it within us to make a change and to inspire others along the way. The real question is, are you READY? Today on a national call Richard said some great words. He was the guy always helping others and never doing anything for himself. He would spend his days working for others, taking care of others and forgetting about himself. It’s profound. Are you forgetting about the one great person in your live? YOU? My wife and I have dedicated our lives to helping others by setting up both local and online challenge groups and this is a not judgment solution. Whether you have 100-200 or more pounds to lose or you’re that person that starts a workout, sets your goals and falls short, we want to hear from you. Please reach out to me. Ask to be my friend on Private message me with your goals and what has been stopping you. I believe we can reverse this horrible plague of obesity in our country, but it will take leaders like Richard and like you to do it.  It’s never to late to make this happen.

One Grand Goal! The Grand Canyon Run!   Follow
First off, let’s set the scene for you - 42 miles Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim. The run has over 22,000 feet of elevation gain and loss and is considered to be one of the hardest on the planet. We would be running from the South Rim (Kaibab Trail) to the North Rim. What an adventure!   [caption id="attachment_1272" align="alignright" width="288"] Carey and me south rim[/caption] Our day began before dawn and knowing that the average runner does this in 15-18 hours, we were preparing our packs. At 6:30am we entered the trailhead and we were faced with a down that would be close to 7 miles and drop us some 1-mile to the Colorado River. You will see from our video below how really amazing it was.   My wife Carey and I were coming off a great race just a little over a month back (TransRockies Run 120 miles over 6 days) We were pumped, but this race had presented some challenges for me. My right knee and hip took a beating over the 6 days and I was trying to prepare myself for what might be a shorter run. The Grand Canyon isn’t a place you want to “gut one out”, this place has claimed more than its share of top runners and being that I was new to ultra running, I was playing this run safe.   We made it to Phantom Ranch in just a little over 1 hour and we were all feeling well. There we took on water and would continue another 7 miles up to Cottonwood Camp. This pass was through an amazing box canyon but now we were ascending to the north, which was about 14 miles from Phantom.   About 3 miles up, my hip was beginning to let me know that it just wasn’t ready for the challenge and then my knee was chiming in telling me that this may not be my day. Then 1 mile south of Cottonwood it became clear that the run would be over for me. I would need to turn back soon. There would be no 3 rims in one day, but 2 was still a great accomplishment. We were so blessed to have our friend and coach with us on this day. Ian Torrance has won 51 Ultra Marathons and was on his 10th Grand Canyon Crossing. I was really glad for this because Carey (my wife) really wanted to make it all the way. So, with a heavy heart I gave my running partner, love of my life and my friend a hug and headed back to Phantom.   The whole run back I was hoping they would make it and in my alone time began to think about how blessed I was to have the support, time and money to even attempt a run like this. It’s really hard to put into words what you feel like surrounded by billions of years of history and vast expanse of this great natural wonder. Everywhere you look there is some amazing cliff or rock that humbles you and gives you new meaning to life. There I was running the Grand Canyon. I snapped out of my dream state and became aware that the temp was rising fast and I was using up my water really fast. I made it back to Phantom Ranch to find out that the temp was now 102 and ended up topping out at 105. There was concern for my Carey and Ian, but I knew that Ian had much experience and had run this in July, which is considered by many the hardest time to cross. I was able to re-charge and take a nap. Ian had told me that it would take them about 5 hours from when I left them to meet me at the Ranch. In just a little over 6 hours they came in and I was relieved to see them again. The sun had taken much out of them and we asked for some food at the Ranch. Don’t be a dummy like me and forget to bring money! It could have really cost us if it wasn’t for a kind person at that Ranch who shared food that other runners/hikers had left behind. It wasn’t enough but it was something now for the final ascent.   We were now going back up to the north rim and after a long day it would take us 3 hours to go 6.2 miles. It was the hardest up I have ever experienced. But before the dark of night ,the sun gave us magical views of this Grand place. She gets her name Grand Canyon, I’m sure because when you see the evening sun dance off these canyon walls you are reminded again that life is such a blessing and you will go away learning to never take a moment for granted.   The relentlessness of this final climb I will not soon forget! Once we got our headlamps on, the wind began to kick up. The cool air at the top and warm air at the bottom began to give us gusts of 50 MPH. This wouldn’t be so bad if the ground below us wasn’t such fine dirt. We were be sandblasted and with 4 miles to go were there in the “hurt locker”. There’s no quitting, no stopping, hanging on for dear life. This was the moment that my wife Carey turned to me and said, “This was the hardest workout I’ve ever done” and at the end, “I would be happy to birth 10 babies in row over this”. The one thing about a climb like this is you don’t have a choice, the only way out is UP. I began thinking about how many times in my life that maybe I quit something to soon because getting out was easy. If you listen, I mean really listen to your life, all the answers are there. Our lady the Grand Canyon was just clarifying the message that night.   So many people ask us “Are you crazy”, “Why do you do this?”. We love to challenge ourselves and to learn to live life with more meaning. Let me tell you, when you are out on a 14-hour run you learn so much about the person you are and want to become. I really can’t recommend to you enough to set a goal, get a great coach, and go for it. It’s clear that both my wife and I are becoming better people and closer as a couple. This is a message to the men in the house. If you elected to do this with your wife, you must always leave your ego at the door and I guess this can go to the woman as well. Every time I run or do a challenge with my wife, it’s unconditional love zone. I really love this rule because we’ve become closer and our love is getting stronger.  MY GOD I’m so blessed!   WE REACHED the summit and the end of this journey. I’m so pound of my wife for completing the whole thing and in that joy I didn’t even care that I didn’t make it, but as she reminded me I did to a Rim-to-Rim and this is still a huge win!! I’m going to brag a little here. I have THE most amazing wife in the world and the love I feel for her gets stronger everyday. She sets goals and achieves them setting the tone for our whole family. I LOVE YOU HONEY!!   Get inspired and reach for your goals. Win or lose you are still going to have a great life moment and one that you will talk about for years. Both Carey and I are coaches and we would love to help you set and achieve your goals. Hope to hear from you! WOW!! THE GRAND CANYON!

What happens when you set a huge goal?   Follow
What happens when you set a huge goal? When I was 12 years old I wrote my first song. My mother and father were so impressed that they helped me learn about how to protect my song and together we learned all about copyright law and so began my first huge goal to win a Grammy. For the next 33 years I wrote and produced music, toured and got nominated for 2 Grammies. Now, even though I didn’t win one, I thought, was setting this huge goal worth it? YES! The journey to music mastery gave me so many life experiences and I don’t regret it for one minute. [caption id="attachment_1248" align="alignleft" width="199"] Carey and me on Day one.[/caption]   The real question was, “is it too huge”? No, because when you really go for it in life, great things will happen. After my many years as a Rock Star!! (LOL!) I found myself overweight and unhappy, so began the next stage in my life of huge goals. Because my first huge goal taught me that I had to build a good team of great people around me, I knew I could do anything with the right coaches and mentors around me. I couldn’t believe I let myself-go and gained 70 pounds over 12 years. It’s easy with today’s fast food and all the processed foods. I felt so lost and needed to find a way out. Because my goals and “why” weren’t big enough, I did what all of us do. I hired a personal trainer. I feel bad for him looking back now. I wouldn’t do anything he asked me to do and it was just a huge waste of money. It took me being told by my doctor that I would have a heart attack by the age of 50 if I didn’t start losing weight. That scared me and clearly I needed to be told this. I set a huge goal to run the Los Angeles Marathon. As with all my goals, it took me another 2 years before I could get my act together to make it happen and in 2009 I finished my first Marathon. I felt changed. It was the right thing for me and it led me to triathlons and to workouts like P90X and Insanity. Setting huge goals was leading me out of my dark days and slowly teaching more about myself. Soon all this personal development lead me to the love of my life and thanks to Mrs. Carey Martin, together we set a huge goal - to live the best life we can everyday. To accomplish this we set a goal last year to run the TransRockies Run together. This was so big - 6 days, 120 miles in some of the highest trails in the Colorado Rockies. Could we do it? Would my 48-year-old body be able to take the training? All these questions were in my mind, but the only way to a goal is one foot in front of the other.  We decided to share with the world our 321 days of training on [caption id="attachment_1249" align="alignright" width="300"] Carey rejoices as we make the summit[/caption]   I was so lucky to have my wife Carey by my side. Her attitude, her knowledge and that smile kept me going every day. My road in life has led me to her and together there isn’t anything we can’t do. I can’t believe we did 1500 miles and over 150,000 feet of elevation to prepare for this race! We also knew this was big and got ourselves a great coach in Ian Torrance. Not only is Ian a top Ultrarunner, but his ability to help us reach our potential was critical to our success.   On Aug. 19th, 2012 Carey and I finished the TransRockies Run race - all 120 miles in 26 hours 6 mins and 6 sec. AMAZING!! We are both still trying to take it all in. This huge goal… DONE! We’ve both been profoundly changed by this moment and we are setting next year’s goal. Its clear to us that the act of setting a goal and pushing yourself to finish it will help you grow and enjoy your life. Below is the video of our 6 days. I was so blessed to have done this with the love of my life. To our great coach Ian, thank you for saving us and giving us all the care and attention. To our boys Lucas and Mason for supporting us. Melanie and Max for their help during our race. Love you guys. To all our friends in Team Beachbody. [caption id="attachment_1250" align="aligncenter" width="430"] We made it! 120 miles!! Together![/caption] So, what happens when you set a huge goal? You put in motion new variables in your life that will help you learn and grow. There is no downside to setting a huge goal. Today all it takes is a moment to do that thing you've always wanted. If you believe there is more out there, you are right! There is and you need to get out there and live the best life you can.   Both Carey and I would love to hear your huge goal!! GO FOR IT!!

Did you know there is a WHY to Reaching your goals? How to make it easier   Follow

Reaching your goals, What is A WHY?

For the last five years, I’ve been learning so much about goal setting, taking action in my life and reaching your goals. There are hundreds of books out about how to reach your goals and how to “get what you want out of life”. Finding my way in life has been a journey, and now at 48 years old I believe that realizing where I came from was the easy part; knowing how my life would turn out was a different bag all together.

Setting goals and reaching your goals is a good thing, don’t get me wrong, you need them to create direction and give your life meaning. But before you write down “that big house in the hills and the red sports car”, I hope you will first work on your WHY. Your WHY must be so big and full of your personal mission that it will compel your goals to new heights. After 30 years of goal setting I missed this and up until the last 5 years of my life, my goals were never realized. It seemed that life’s little black cloud just loved to follow me. I also have learned that reaching your goals means writing them down, but will writing down your goals help your reach your goals? I found out that reaching your goals takes more then just words to paper, but if you want to reach your goals faster you must write out your goals. Just dream and write down your goals. You'll need a good road map for reaching your goals and paper is the best place to start

How does your WHY help you on reaching your goals.

reaching your goals So, when I say your WHY, what am I really saying? No matter what your goal in life is, your WHY is the truth, the light, and the way. You'll need a big WHY if you are looking to reach your goals. Has anyone ever asked you to be part of something and you joined it because they were so excited about it, it just compelled you to join? Well this is because your friend really felt this product or service was going to change the world and they related it to their WHY. The WHY in reaching your goals is everything. This is powerful stuff. My friends and family used to say to me when I was young, “David, you are natural born salesmen. Someday you will make millions with your sales abilities.” Well guess what? I made zero until I connected with my WHY, my passion for living and helping others. You can learn these really simple steps and change your life and your family’s lives in just a few months. Do this and reaching your goals will become easier. Step #1: Give yourself time to develop your WHY. If you find a program or solution that interests you, use the programs or services and become an expert with them. Remember that reaching your goals will require big change in you and the people around you. Step #2: Don’t limit yourself. We all get into ruts in life where we don’t think there is any way out. This is the time to dream. We’ve all thought, “When I win the Lotto, I would do this and this”. There are benefits to the Lotto. We all know we have a snow balls chance in hell on winning 500 million dollars in the Lotto, but dreaming is fun and it can let you learn more about your WHY. So stop putting limits on your life no matter how old you are. Reaching your goals will require you to dream. Take time to dream and you will reach your goals faster. Step #3: Your WHY must be so connected to you that no matter what anyone says to you they will not keep you from your mission. I remember reading a story of a man who was going door-to-door selling home cleaning products. He was mentally challenged, but his WHY was to help people get the very best products for cleaning their home and even though many people slammed doors in his face he kept going. He became so loved by his customers for his dedication to others that his business grew and grew. Keep it simple. Reaching your goals can be fun. Soon he was so in demand that no doors were slammed in his face and be made millions each year in commissions. His WHY was so big it overcame any obstacle, no matter how great. When asked what he did for a living, he didn’t say I’m a door-to-door salesman. He said, “I help people learn which products will best help them”. Make the mission of servicing others bigger then your rewards and your WHY will shine like a beacon of hope for others that need you. If you are reading this and you are young, I really recommend a coach or mentor to keep you on point. The big thing is to not worry about time. I knew what I wanted to do, but couldn’t make that pay me big money - because my WHY wasn’t developed. Make your WHY so big that nothing will stop you from reaching your goals. Would you like more information on reaching your goals? I have found many resources on reaching your goals, that I would be happy to share with you. I believe in you. Reaching your goals just got a little easier. Read my last blog post. Keep developing your WHY and please reach out to me. It would be my honor to help you reach your goals. I'm working on the following system to help you. Reaching your goals 4 easy action steps Reaching your goals do anything Reaching your goals understanding where you are and want to go

The Ultimate Reset Review When I got the news that Beachbody was about to launch a new program called The Ultimate Reset I couldn’t wait to review it. There are so many cleanse products on the market that are so dangerous because they deprive the body of the nutrients it needs and in my option that is dangerous to anyone health. Why Reset? Our environment has become more and more toxic. Our bodies absorb pollution and harmful chemicals all our lives, along with the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink. How emotions keep us from the money we deserve   Follow
As I went from making good money to making great money there was one thing that I had to master were my emotions. Emotions can bring you to far down or take you to high. Great business people look to have a level temper. I'm an avid reader of Seth Gordin and on his blog her said the following. By Seth Gordin Money scales but emotions around money don't You're not half as annoyed when you get a $25 parking ticket as you are when the fine is $50. An investment banker isn't twice as excited about a $20 million bonus as she is about a $10 million one. There are threshholds that determine how we feel about money-related events (good and bad), but beyond those threshholds, the relationships get all out of whack. Being a million dollars in debt feels about the same as being five million in the hole. The way you feel about more (or less) of something probably doesn't rise or fall based on how much it cost to produce that feeling. Marketers and organizations and the less emotional use this fact against us all the time. They understand that while the utility curve for money for a single individual can change widely over time, the value of that money to the organization is largely linear. If you want to make more you will learn to control your emotions and watch how quickly you will make more money

Test & Grow Rich   Follow
If you read or follow me, you will see that I'm a big fan of Dan Kenndy. The following is a great book about creating sales letters. "Testing" is an ugly topic. Why? Because testing variables in advertising direct mail, phone scripts and sales presentations requires discipline, diligence and patience. To get it right, you can only test one variable at a time. This means that if you change a headline, you can't change anything else. Plus you have to make sure all other variables remain the same, like the mailing day or a war breaking out that has everybody watching CNN day and night or the President getting caught again with his drawers down or a hurricane hitting. Frankly, most business people will just not go through the "detailitis" required to test - which is why it's a very good idea to model proven promotions. And in some cases where you're only going to use something once or twice or you're dealing with a very small number, it's just not worth testing; instead, you take your best shot. But let's assume you're working on something you intend to use over and over and over again in some significant quantity, so that it's worth real effort to fine-tune it... I have some tips for you: first of all, there's non-testing testing - huh? Well, In Dan's book he talks about 'The Ultimate Sales Letter' (available at, and the steps to take with a finished sales letter before you actually mail it. Second, there's split testing, which is the fastest way to test and get to a reasonable conclusion. Let's assume you have a postcard and you want to leave everything the same but test four different headlines, and you have 4,000 similar addresses to mail to. You do "nth name testing"; that means Headline #A goes to every 4th name, Headline #B to every 5th name, Headline #C to every 5th name, etc. So you evenly divide the list without bias among the headlines being tested. Some media (like Val-Pak or MoneyMailer) will let you split test within a single buy. Third, there's testing against a control. A "control" is a marketing strategy that already works well and you're using it on a continuing basis - maybe it's a series of letters you mail every month. You have been using it long enough you know what it produces. You have a "known" to measure against. Now you can start trying to improve that control, ideally one step or variable at a time. If I'm trying to beat a control, here are the "hot" variables I'll look at closely, to see if there's room for improvement: The offer The guarantee(s) The urgency of response The big idea or big promise The overcoming of skepticism i.e. credibility and believability The style or tone of the writing itself The look of the piece By the way, little, very testable things DO sometimes make very big differences. Recently I showed an example in my newsletter of a guy who just added four rubber-stamped words to the outside of his envelope, and beat his control by 300%. I once brought a TV infomercial back from the dead by raising the price of the product. Gary Halbert saved the Pearl Cream advertising by adding a particular bonus. In 1984, after attending my seminar, a dentist in Sacramento changed five words on his Val-Pak coupon and went from getting two or three new patients a month to 15 to 20. This is the sort of thing that makes direct-response advertising as frustrating as golf. (Did you happen to see John Daly miss a put seven times and scratch himself out of the tournament? Ugh.) Obviously, you can't test if you can't, won't or don't collect accurate data. You have to code every offer, and track where every ounce of business comes from. If you have employees who are lax about this, you must educate them about the importance, discipline them if they goof it up, and ultimately can'em if they won't do it right 100% of the time. I confess that I fly by the seat of my pants in my business more than I should, but I can't fire me, God knows there are days I should. Anyway, I can assure you: the clients I have with the best profits and incomes possess the best information about where their business comes from. Let me switch gears and talk briefly about another aspect of "testing". This is actually how all highly successful entrepreneurs view everything they testing. They do NOT see things in the context of "success" or "failure" like ordinary people do, and as a result they do not become "de-motivated" like most people do. See, most people drain all the vitality, courage, optimism and git-up-n-go out of themselves by focusing on all the things they do that don't work out well, as a compilation of failures. But successful people understand the powerful impact of that negative reinforcement on their own self-image (somewhat akin to the impact of pouring a gallon of toxic waste into a pint of clear water, drinking the result, and wondering why the stomach backs up into the esophagus). Instead, they carefully organize the things they do into a series or sequence of experiments, testing options, and focusing on the ones they find that work. And they fully expect to go through any number of experiments that don't pan out before walking away from the lab with a winner. This not only has practical relevance, it has profound psychological ramifications. Just like a little tweak in thinking can make a big difference in the results of say, an ad or a flyer, a little tweak in thinking can make a giant difference in the life results experienced by an individual. Average Is Over In America   Follow
I just got done reading John Hanen post in the New York Times "Average Is Over" It's a wonderful look at how technology has changed the job market forever. So, how will you make it? The key lies in creating value within yourself. If you are valuable to others, you will always have work. I see social networks bringing big business. After all if we are all creating value then many will be needed to help share and expose those new ideas. The real question that is in my mind is are you ready to make the change in your own life? Many American's still believe that someone will save their jobs. It will not be happening. Just last summer the "99%" had sit ins, asking local and state governments to create jobs. It will not be happening. If you are a smart person and I believe you are, you will soon begin to realize the world is going another way and you can't be average anymore. Its time to retrain yourself for the new reality. My quest is to help others find their path and to understand the trends and make that change within themselves.

Do You Have What It Takes To Be a Champion?   Follow
I love getting older. I know that statement might seem odd to a world that is obsessed with youth. Do you have what it takes to be champion in life? The word in the dictionary says "a person who has defeated or surpassed all rivals in a competition". What most of us begin to realize is that life itself is a competition; some of us participate and others walk away. For the purpose of my post today, I would like to talk about those that become champions and how at one time or another they must face overwhelming odds to persevere and to realize their goals. I've had the great opportunity to meet many successful people and the one thing I see in all of them is desire. That desire is so strong they will stop at nothing and no obstacle big or small will stand in their way. Are you a champion? As I write this, my wife and I made a goal to run the TransRockies Run in August 2012. It is a 120-mile 6-day event that will test our inner champions. I'm now faced with one of those obstacles. Many ultra runners face repetitive motion injury; I'm faced with a right ankle that isn't healing. I'm faced with that age old question: Are you a champion or are you going to quit? Quit! It makes me sick to my stomach to utter those words in this blog. But, do champions quit? The answer is NO. Watch this video. Diana Nayd, she set all kinds of long distant swimming records in 1970's but hadn't been swimming for years, one day began to look for purpose in her life again. I believe she was looking for that desire to do what all champions do. I also believe true champions build a habit of winning and the ups and downs don't effect them as much as they might effect us "champions in training". That's right, we are all champions in training. Watch this video and really listen to her words. Have you walked away from a dream because the odds were against you? Do you wish you could be like Diana? After watching this, I had to watch it again. I felt that desire to push though my problems and reach the next level. Did you feel that? While you were watching this, did you feel that you want and deserve more out of your life? Then you have it. The heart of a champion. But, champions don't sit around waiting for something big to happen, they make it happen. All of us were so inspired by 3rd string quarterback Tim Tebow who lit up the mile high city with his desire to win. I don't care if you like him or you don't. Did you feel something watching his team pull out those amazing victories? Then you might just have the heart of a champion. Diana showed me the grace in falling short and the courage it takes to come back. I've felt that before - in early 2010 doctors found a tumor in my upper right chest. I was training for a Triathlon and it was killing me to stop all my training and undergo a 9-hour operation and 10 months of recovery. But what do champions do? They come back. I came back and finished that Triathlon on my terms and then set the goal to run the TransRockies with the most amazing woman on this planet. My wife has inspired me to reach for all my goals no matter how big or small. My wish for you today is that you will be a champion in all you do! GO FOR IT!

Beachbody P90X Expanding UK Canada and other countries.   Follow
Beachbody P90X Expanding UK Canada and other countries. [You should login] Follow Expanding successful Beachbody P90X to UK, Canada million dollar earner David Tyler Martin Beachbody, the makers of P90X, Insanity, and Shakeology is about to expand into Canada, UK, and other countries with their successful home based business opportunity. I am writing this information for the first time, because I am a founding coachin America and one of Team Beachbody's top earners. I have been informed by the company that they are currently testing and selling P90X and other programs in Canada, UK, Mexico and other countries and soon they will launch their "Coaching Business", as they call it. Expanding into the UK, Canada, and other counties is only a matter of time. When talking to top executives at the 2011 Summit, it's clear that expanding into Canada, UK, and Mexico isn't "if", it's "when".In the last two years, their expanding coaching program has begun to catch on in America with over 50,000 coaches and is growing fast. Beachbody wants to expand to 1 million coaches in America and 3 million coaches world wide. The CEO Carl Deikeler believes that this is what we will need to reverse the tend of obesity world wide. From a business perspective, I believe that this rapidly expanding last two years is a turning point for you to consider becoming a coach and securing your position. A wise business move, and based on the awards that Beachbody is piling up in the direct selling industry, it is clearly time to get in. My business has been growing since the start and the company just reported that their highly rated Shakeology solution hit 1.5 million per week! When you look at other companies in the same position and development, it's clear that Beachbody's home based business or Coaching program is poised to be one of the biggest direct selling companies in the world. When will Canada, Mexico, and UK be expanding? Over the last 2 years the company has been adding key people to handle this expansion and is currently talking about it more and more. I am writing this blog because I believe now is the time to get ready and join me. The top program P90X has been translated into Spanish and our Team Beachbody coaching sites are all in Spanish. Will they open Mexico soon? My feeling is "yes", and that is why I'm looking for 15 top bi-lingual coaches now! I also have coaches in the UK who are ready for the expansion and believe that we are currently the best prepared for the global expansion. The final word on Expanding in Canada, UK, and Mexico The company hasn't at the time of this posting made any official announcement that they are opening Canada, the UK, or Mexico, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that it is going to happen and that you should be on "The D Train" (my best friend Todd Saylor calls me) if you want to know first. Because of my great relationship with the top executives and the fact that I am one of the founding coaches and top earners, if I were reading this and was a business man or woman, then I would want to consider being with a top earner and someone that has a proven track record. Below I have provided you with a form to request doing business with me. I would enjoy connecting with you and discussing partnering with you when the time comes for expanding Team Beachbody into Canada, UK and Mexico.

Companies using incentives to help employees loose...   Follow

American Companies Battle Obesity

This news got me excited. I’m always glad when I see people taking responsibility and helping others. Today in USA Today Kelly Kennedy wrote a great article about how over the last two years companies have adopted financial incentives to encourage people to lose weight, join a fitness program or get a physical exam, according to a survey last month by the National Business Group on Health. Helen Darling the president of NBGH said “There was a long time when employers felt this was a personal issue, but in the last five years, the dramatically increasing health care cost of obesity have changed their minds.” Some serious problems related to obesity she said, including higher rates of depression, absenteeism, low productivity and more medical claims. An overweight employee costs employers $5000 more a year in health costs then a healthy-weight individual.

It pays off to help employees loose weight

These were some interesting findings. They surveyed 335 employers and found that the share of companies that used financial rewards in health management programs increased to 54% in 2011 from 36% in 2009. Its expected that 80% of companies plan to offer financial rewards. The survey also revealed that the percentage using penalties, such as for smoking, more then doubled from 8% in 2009 to 19% in 2011. Nearly 40% of the companies surveyed plan to use penalties next year. Because of the Affordable Care Act that allows employers to spend 30% of employees health insurance or up to 505 with Department of Health and Human services approval – on wellness incentives starting in 2014. Some employers are seeing behaviors changing with these incentives. Health Care Service Corp., a health benefits company made up of four Blue Cross and Blue Shield programs and Dearboarn National, medical claim costs fell more the $1 million in a year, according to Lauren Plugas, spokesworman for HCSC Employees who workout one to two times a week have 8% lower medical cost then those who don’t work out; those who work out two to three times a week have 28% lower medical cost; and those who work out more then three times a week have a 44% lower medical costs. Companies are paying co-pays and giving cash incentives for weight lost.

Win $100,000 for doing what you need to do

One of the countries largest in-home fitness companies Beachbody is giving away more then $800,000 in one night to help everyone get healthy and fit. Carl Daikeler the CEO of Beachbody has rented the MGM Grand and will be personally giving away the money in 2012. (SEE His Video Here) Corporations are signing up their employees for FREE and in some cases paying for these low cost solutions. Beachbody provides Coaches to help their member’s success. Beachbody is the maker of P90X, Insanity, Brazil Butt Lift, Turbo Fire and many other workouts. It’s good business to help people. Good for our country and for everyone. I’m actively helping corporations find and implement solutions. Please reach out to me if you would like to get more information.

Do Dreams Really Come True?   Follow
Growing up we we’re exposed to so much, Disney for instance would make you believe that there are always happy endings. I think we are exposed to marketing, when we are small that would make us believe that someday soon our fairy tail ending will be coming. Then the realities of the world set in and we forget about it all, we are running from place to place trying to make money,  we experience divorce, death and our local news media telling us how horrible the world is. For me, I forgot about dreams in my twenties and got caught up in life and it wasn’t until I was 35 that I realized that I needed a new way to think. I began to write out my goals in life and created a vision board. Today I’m 47 and that was 12 years of more ups and downs and failed relationships, but I kept saying that I wouldn’t give in to the negative no matter what.
I have good news to report to you. On Friday 11/11/11 at sunset, in a private, wonderful 9 miles of secluded beach in Mexico, I married the love of my life, the princess, as Disney would have us all believe. She came into my life and really loved me, made me believe that dreams do come true and life can be what you want it to be.
What I’ve leaned is that, dreams are our own responsibility to make come true and it took me to the age of 47 to find the man that I am and love I wanted to have in my life. Don’t settle in your life. If you don’t like where you are today then fix it. It will not happen over night. It took me 12 years of working on myself to make this happen in my life and it doesn’t stop here, I need to keep on this path of self-improvement and discovery to make my life the best it can be. My hope is that you are reading this and will want to begin that journey for yourself and begin to change just a few little things about you life today! Dreams do come true in the journey of your life, but you must not just dream but do actionable things everyday to change you first. It was clear to me now, as I look back. Life is energy and you attract who you are inside. So, if you are attacking bad things, then it might be a good idea to look at yourself first. It’s a hard thing to do, to make a personal assessment of yourself, but it will help you begin a life changing solution.
I wish you only the best for you in this life.
